Napping with Big Brother!

Taylor and Hayden decided to watch a movie one afternoon in February, so I took advantage of the time to get somethings done around the house. I literally walked out of the living room for 5 minutes and walked back in to this sweet moment.

Boys will be boys, which means they do not always get along, but this moment will always melt my heart! Taylor and Hayden curled up on the sofa together napping, so sweet!

Taylor Loves Birthday Parties!

In February, Taylor attended Leah's 3 Birthday Party! Leah is in his class at school, who he likes a lot!

Enjoying the yummy cupcake!

Off to play with Leah!

He loved the big, blue slide!

He likes to go fast!

Taylor and Leah played along side each other the whole time, so cute!

Valentines Flowers!

On Friday, February 12, I got a knock at my front door and opened it to the most pleasant delivery man named Charlie Price. He was holding this absolutely gorgeous arrangement of flowers that were so fragrant. You see...Charlie Price is one of my dear friends and college sorority sister's father. And Alicia Price Rico is the amazing creator of this beautiful arrangement. And this beautiful arrangement was from my loving dad who never misses a holiday by sending me flowers!

Alicia and her husband, Adam, own a art, craft, and floral shop on Lower Greenville. Here is a little write up about this neat little shop...

It's been awhile since a new face has blossomed on the Dallas floral-boutique scene, but prepare for a fresh burst of flower power. Meet newcomer Alicia Rico, a New York designer who migrated south las fall to open Bows and Arrows, a charming flower shop and art gallery run in partnership with her newlywed husband, Adam (who is very talented himself!). The store has an indie vibe - black walls, vintage chic and handmade crafts. Rico describes her floral work as "lush, low, girly and textural," which we translate as "extraordinarily beautiful." The arrangements are overflowing with petals, and infused with offbeat twists like succulents or a single sunflower, stripped of its yellow petals.

Alicia Rico, who comes to Dallas by way of beloved Brooklyn floral studio Seaport Flowers, aims to seek out the unusual and keep things interesting. She's both designed and styled flowers for Martha Stewart Weddings. And her own sunshine-kissed wedding is featured in the spring-summer 2010 edition of The Knot New York magazine.

I am so excited for Adam and Alicia, their store is absolutely incredible! They are also awaiting a bundle of joy, a baby girl named Dotty! I can't wait to meet her!

Snow in Texas!

As everyone all knows by now...we had record snowfall in Texas!!! I am just a little bit late on posting my snow photos, but here they are!

Thank goodness we had brought Taylor's ski stuff back from Colorado the last time! He was all warm and dry from playing in the snow all day, but not me. All of my warm, waterproof ski stuff is hanging in the closet at the Colorado house...of course. By the end of the day my feet were soaked and freezing along with the rest of my body! And for those of you who know me I do not like the cold.

He thought making snow angels was so much fun!

Taylor's Valentines Day Party at School!

All of the other parties this past year, I have just been a helper on, but I had signed up to take care of the Valentines Day Party. Of course, me being me...I had all of these fun things planned to do. When I got the email that our party was only going to be 15 minutes long, I was so bummed, but it ended up being fun and cute for the kids!

I handmade these vintage inspired Valentines Day cards for the kids to put a thumbprint heart in for there parents!

We also did one for Mrs. Bevil, their teacher!

The kids had cookies & milk and decorated their cards.

Enjoying their milk & cookies!

Taylor, my sweet Valentine!

About to start decorating their cards!

Once the party was over, Taylor wanted to sit and read his favorite book!
