Taylor's Pallet!

Taylor was so worn out the other day that he wanted to take a nap, which does not happen usually.  So he made a pallet all by himself.  He took the back cushions off of the sofa and placed them on the floor and fell fast asleep, very innovative at 2 years of age.

Sweet Boy!

Spring Football has Arrived!

Oh yes, it is now time for Spring Football!  With the draft complete and the spring practices beginning, it is all about football!  Daddy let Taylor try on Kameron's football pads, which were twice his size, but Taylor loved it.  He even ran upstairs to grab Hayden's football helmet and then he insisted on throwing the football.

Sign me up, I am ready for some football!

The pads were so heavy, but he would not let me take them off!

Taylor suited up and ready to play football!

The New Mower!

This past Saturday, Taylor wanted to try out his new lawn mower!  He had been in the house the whole week prior mowing the carpet, but now came the time when all of the boys were out front doing yard work, so Taylor could not wait!  He ran around the front yard about 50 times pushing his lawn mower, it was priceless!

In deep concentration!

He kept looking back at Daddy to see if he was watching him.  When Daddy would respond "Great Job" or give him the thumbs up, Taylor would continue on his was mowing the grass.

Look at him go!

Putting some muscle into it!

Taylor had fun with Markers!

Taylor and I sat down to color the other day and in the time that I got up to get him some more apple juice he decided he would color himself!  It was so cute because he kept saying, "Mommy, I don't know what happened?"  When I tried to explain that we color on paper not on ourselves he just looked at me with the colorful marked face and said, "Look Mommy, green is here, blue is here and orange is here!"  So at least he is learning the colors - Right!?!?!?

"I don't know what happened?"

"Look Mommy, blue is right here!"

Taylor's First Open House at Mother's Day Out!

Last week we went to Taylor's first Open House.  It was also an Art Show.  Below are a few photos of Taylor's Artwork that was selected for the show!

When we found his artwork, he acted so proud of it - way too cute!

Gaining Confidence on the Tiger Bike!

Ever since learning how to ride his Tiger Bike, he rides it every single day for about an hour more if time permits!

Concentrating so hard that he has his tongue sticking out.

He is so serious when it comes to riding his Big Boy Tiger Bike!

My Sweet Tucker

This is a tribute to my dog of the past 8 years, Tucker.  Thursday, April 16, Tucker was suddenly and tragically taken from me.  I know many of you knew Tucker and I felt like this was a good way to let you know of my loss.

Whether you have a dog, cat, child, husband, or any individual that you care deeply about make sure you cherish and love them to the fullest each and every day because you never know when they can be taken from you.

Tucker as a puppy.

I got Tucker the fall semester of my Sophmore year at TCU.

He was so small he fit in a latte cup!

He would always look at me like this when I would talk to him!

Taylor got the chance to be a part of Tucker's life, but I know he will not remember him.

Tucker at my parents house recently.

Tucker, his nickname was Tucker J!

I will always remember Tucker, he was a very loyal and loving dog.

I just wanted to say thank you to my parents, Sasha (my college roommate), Josh (my roommate after college), the boys, and my husband for being a part of Tucker's life.

Taylor's First Fishing Trip with Uncle Ricky & Aunt Beth!

Taylor went on his first fishing trip with Aunt Beth & Uncle Ricky this past weekend and he absolutely loved it!  He came home and kept telling me that he caught a whopper!  Thanks to Aunt Beth for taking all of these wonderful photos so that Taylor and I will always remember his first fish!
