Coloring with Hayden!

Hayden & Taylor coloring together!

Taylor is always so proud of this drawings!

Hayden (10 years) & Taylor (Taylor was acting goofy!)

After Hayden finishes his homework most of the time the boys color and we take this time to teach Taylor his colors.  His new color is yellow, but Taylor pronounces it "Lellow".  Hayden and I love how he says it so we always point to something yellow just so he can here him say "Lellow".

So far he knows red, green, blue, yellow, black, and purple.  He still gets confused on some of the colors, but he is learning so much right now - he is like a little sponge of knowledge!

Taylor's Play Date at the Park!

Even though he can swing in the Big Boy Swing, he still wants the toddler swing!

Taylor & Will (2) swinging while Andrew (4) pushes both of them!

Taylor was so happy to be outside!

He wanted to do the Monkey Bars so bad!

There is Some Serious Playing going on!

The boys of course had to play with the wood chips.

Running for the swings!

He was so exhausted after the play date!

He loves to slide!

Andrew taught him how to go up the slide.  Boys will be boys!

Andrew (4) and Will (2) live in our neighborhood so they ride bikes around the neighborhood with each other.  We went to a park the other day so the boys could run and play.  We were there for 3 hours, the boys had tons of fun!

Where do these go?

You know those little padding inserts that come in bras.  Well I had taken these out of a workout shirt and had set them on my vanity.  He grabbed them and when I came out of the closet he had placed them where he has them in the photo above.  It is so amazing what he learns, I have a feeling he learned this from his older brothers because I definitely did not teach him this.  This past weekend when Gigi was over, he was playing with them and Gigi goes Taylor what are those?  He said...Gigi, they go here.  And placed them on Gigi, it is one of those moments when all you can do is laugh.

Monday is always Cleaning Day at the Haddocks!

Taylor always cleans the mirror, he thinks it is windex - it really is just water!

He even wipes it clean!

Taylor always has a huge smile on his face and he says...Mommy, its clean!

Mondays are always cleaning day!  Maria comes to clean the whole house and Taylor follows her around with his towel and squirt bottle that has water in it!  He loves to clean.  When she mops the floors he has to mop, if she uses the vacuum cleaner he has to use his, and when she dusts he has to dust.  Hopefully he will continue to keep things clean.  He even will help me with the laundry considering I usually do about 10 to 15 loads of laundry on Mondays!  He is even showing signs of OCD, which everyone claims Mark and I have - we just like things neat and organized.  The other day we were doing laundry, we have a second refrigerator in the laundry room and that is where Taylor keeps all of this magnetic ABC's, which has a unit that you plug the letters in and it sings to him on how you pronounce the letter - very clever toy!  Anyways, he was playing with it and he put it back on the refrigerator and it was a little crooked - he started to run away - then he turned right around and straightened the toy - something I so would do.

Jump, Jump!

Gigi (Shar - my mom) came over this past weekend to spend some time with the boys, so Mark and I could have a date night - which is always fun!  We set up a trampoline for Taylor.  He loves to jump on beds so we figured the trampoline would be a great way to use up some of the energy that he has.  Taylor is trying to drop his nap-time which causes for a long day of nonstop play, which is extremely fun, but a little exhausting!  He loves jumping on it!  Thanks, Gigi!

Taylor Loves his Cartoons!

Taylor and I start every morning with breakfast and then with his favorite cartoons, The Backyardigans, Wonder Pets, & Franklin, The Turtle.  Instead of sitting in his big overstuffed chair, he opts for this spiderman chair that Gigi (Shar - my mom) gave to him for when we go watch Kameron and Hayden play football and baseball.  Hayden tries to set in it and Taylor will not let him sit in his chair.  He has to have his spiderman chair, blankie, doggie, & apple juice then he sits down to watch his shows.  When one ends he calls out to me, "Mommy, again.  I want to watch it again."  He has not realized that it is TV and you just can't keep watching it over and over.  Thank goodness they created DVDs of all of his favorite cartoons!  He already has his morning routine which we do each and every morning, it makes you wonder how his morning routines will change over the course of his life - Like adulthood for instance...spiderman chair turns into his worn in leather reclining chair, blankie turns into a robe, doggie might turn into a real dog, apple juice turn into his morning coffee, and the cartoons probably will turn into the local news or even newspaper - if those are still around when he reaches adulthood.
